Who we are
MrTaxi services started way back in the mid-1970s, at a time when Sfakia and Crete, in general, was unknown to most foreigners. Starting as a family business and having only one car, at first we transported locals and a few foreign Samaria visitors just around the region of Sfakia, the place MrΤaxi was born. The roads were truly inappropriate at the time, poorly crafted, mainly out of dirt and rocks. Transportation via automobile was a really difficult and challenging procedure back then, but our trustworthy transfer services let nobody down. The safety and comfort of our passengers were, and are, guaranteed.
As the years came by, we broadened our services' range and began to transfer passengers to further distances, way outside of the region of the Sfakian municipality (Chania, Heraklion, Rethymnon etc.). Our small local family business slowly evolved, got bigger and ended up to what it is today; a transfer company, offering its transfer services to thousands of tourists, travelers and adventurers every year!
